The Harrogate Youth Bowling Club or YBC is a small but friendly ten-pin bowling club. At present we have around 30 members bowling on 10 lanes. We accept new members from the age of 8 years old, up to the age of 18.
Although small, the YBC has been successful on many levels. We currently have 1 Yorkshire bowler, and have had recent successes at local and regional tournaments with several of the younger bowlers showing real promise. We run an internal league from October through to May. Those bowlers who do not bowl as a member of a team are used as substitutes and are given training by our coaches.
We have several trained coaches, who are on hand every week to aid in not only the improvement of our established bowlers, but also in the development of the newer and younger bowlers.
The YBC meets at 9.45 a.m. on a Saturday morning at UK SuperBowl in Harrogate and bowling costs £4 per week.
